Established in 1953, Lycée La Bourdonnais (LLB), is the first renowned educational establishment accredited by the French Ministry of Education. Situated in the heart of Plaine Wilhems, the school, reputed for being the only International school on the island to offer a continuous, graduated program from primary school to the final year of high school (from age 5 to 18), ensures a seamless academic journey culminating in the prestigious baccalaureate, with an exceptional baccalaureate  pass rate, thereby giving its graduates access to leading international institutions and top universities worldwide. 

The main language of instruction at LLB is French, with English playing an important role from elementary school onwards. The International Section (SI) British is offered from CP(Grade 1), reinforcing the school’s commitment to high-level English proficiency.
